Slime Burst
You're a slime. You eat things. You get bigger. Simple as that.
Fight through 5 waves of enemies, absorb their abilities, and grow into an unstoppable blob of destruction — then take on the Alien Slime boss before it takes you out first.
Devour. Evolve. Dominate.
How to Play
- WASD — Move
- Click — Shoot
- E — Devour enemies
- Right Click — Special skill
- TAB — Switch skills
- Q — Shrink back to normal
- ESC — Pause
What's in the game
- 5 waves with 3 enemy types that get progressively nastier
- Devour system — kill enemies, steal their skills
- Every devour makes you physically bigger and stronger
- Hit 5 devours and you transform into a giant
- Boss fight with multiple attack patterns (bullet rain, radial shots, more)
- Manage your bullets — they're both your ammo and your skill resource
A note on development
This is a solo project built with Godot 4. I used Claude (Anthropic's AI) throughout development to help with GDScript logic, debugging, and game systems — basically a coding assistant that kept me unblocked when things got weird. All the design decisions, ideas, and gameplay direction are my own.
